All our wines performed very well at the Clare Show in November, despite most having had only a short time in bottle.

We expect these wines to impress even more, once they are settled in the bottle.
The release of the 2014 Skilly Valley Riesling (due early March) will mark our fifth vintage from this remarkable riesling vineyard. The Skilly has always rated 92 points or above and every vintage has been recognised and awarded medals in either Australia or overseas. In addition to the Silver at the Clare Show, the 2014 Skilly received Silver at the Adelaide Wine Show in October. And the 2010 Skilly achieved a Bronze at the International Riesling Challenge in London in 2011.
We had a busy pruning season last year, with a major project undertaken in the cabernet vineyard to ensure we continue to get the best quality fruit and to prolong the life of the vines.
Winter rains were sufficient enough to almost fill the dam, which is reassuring, leading into the 2014/15 summer.
And, in very pleasing news, Penna Lane Wines was awarded a 5 star rating in the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2015.
