Oh wow, this is a classic riesling from Watervale in the Clare Valley. Fine yet intensely powerful and precise. Minerally floral notes on the nose with a slaty wet pebbly character that is pure riesling. The palate is precise and fine, with a lancing fine acid that drives it through to a very long finish. A degree of palate tension gives it such an expressive feel. Lightly lemon-scented and flavoured. Outstanding.
